GOTFire is a fully automatic wood chip burner that has an ignition and extinction function. It provides easily maintained heating all year round and can also be combined with solar cell systems. The risk of boiling and the build-up of tar deposits in the boiler are eliminated thanks to the ignition and extinction function. The heating process is monitored by a photocell which ensures safe combustion. All processes in the burner are managed by a programmable logic controller (PLC), which also controls the operation of the wood chip store.
The GOTFire heating system with wood chip burner and store can be equipped with several independent safety solutions. These solutions comprise thermal cut-out on the screw tube, pressurised water tank with thermostatic water valve, fall shaft between the screw conveyors and close-fitting lid to the wood chip store. The safety solutions in the heating system have received good assessments from insurance companies.
The GOTFire burner has a unique ash pan that makes the burner incredibly simple to clean. The ash pan is easy to remove from the burner and the combustion grate comes away at the same time. This means therefore that both the grate and the burner can be cleaned in only a few seconds.
The GOTFire burner has been tested by ÄFAB, an independent Swedish bioenergy consultancy, and comfortably meets the emissions requirements of the Swedish National Board of Housing, Building and Planning. Since the burner fulfils these requirements, it qualifies for grants for conversion from electric or oil heating systems in Sweden.
GOTFire is currently available in four sizes: 25kW, 40kW, 60kW and 100kW. GOTFire FB25 is suitable for heating a normally insulated home of around 300 square metres. This can vary, however, depending on ceiling height and level of insulation in the building.
